Fair-use boundaries
These limits keep processing queues healthy. They apply to all plans.
- Per-upload size limit: 900 MB .mp4.
- Per-run clip count: 1, 2, 3, or 4.
- Concurrency: one running processing job per user. Additional requests wait in queue.
- Processing starts only when the account has at least one credit per requested clip.
- Presigned download URLs expire after 1 hour.

- Every new account is provisioned with 3 free credits. Credits are deducted after a processing run completes, one credit per generated clip. A run that produces no clips consumes no credits; a run that generates some but not all of the requested clips deducts one credit for each clip that was generated.
- When are credits deducted?
- Credits are deducted after processing completes, one credit for each clip that is successfully generated and stored. A run that produces no clips does not affect your credit balance; a run that generates fewer clips than requested — even one that ends in an error — still deducts one credit per generated clip.
- Can I refund credits or unused subscription time?
- Credits and subscription fees are non-refundable unless required by law or expressly approved. Subscription benefits remain available until the end of the paid period.
- Where is payment handled?
- Payments, when enabled, are handled from the authenticated billing dashboard and processed by Polar. AI Podcast Clipper does not store full payment card information.
